Iglesias‑Vazquez and Associates is an engineering and architectural firm established 43 years ago.

Iglesias‑Vazquez and Associates was one of the first firms in Puerto Rico to implement the use of computer aided design and engineering in their work.  We have recently extended the scope of our work by establishing an office that is exclusively dedicated to the use of high‑technology for the design and development of engineering and architectural projects, which has positioned our firm at the forefront of this field.

The “shop”, as our staff calls this special office, counts with highly‑trained resources for the integrated handling of the engineering, architectural and planning disciplines.  This integrated office allows the firm to handle projects of different magnitudes and complexities.  It counts with three main departments.  The Management and Administrative Department handles all project administration and control.  The Architecture Department is where all the design and production task of the architectural construction documentation is made.   The Engineering Department is in charge of all civil and structural development for the  project, as well as all the surveying data collection and processing.

Since 1974, Iglesias‑Vazquez and Associates has become very active in the computer applications to all A/E design, drafting and management

activities.  Today, through the power and efficiency of computer automation, and by using computerized project management (CPM), for planning, scheduling and control of all our projects, our firm has greatly improved productivity which is taking us to produce for our clients, effective, functional and economic projects.
